Lily was the first piggie I got (in summer 2004). She had been living in a cage in my neighbours basement without bedding, hay, or any sort of house, just with a bowl of water and a bowl of food. I had only had rabbits before, but I thought even without any proper guineapig knowledge, I could care better for her. So I asked, and they were only to glad to give her away.

A year later (after moving to the UK) I got Marvin from a petshop. We had been looking for a friend for her, as she was only sitting in a corner of her cage, being obviously lonely. So, we went into that petshop, and there he was, being the cheekiest piggie ever. Snatching hay out of other pigs´mouths, and when a rabbit was in the way when he wanted to get to the water bottle, he just hopped onto his back! Just the right pig to bring a bit of life and excitement into Lilys boring day to day routine :)

And now, last weekend, we got Milka! :)

A woman had bought her from a petshop, together with a friend - who turned out to be a boar. Milka got pregnant, and started having hormone problems, and loosing fur all over her back. Owner couldnt cope and gave her to a breeder in Leeds (Vicky Holt (http://www.cute-guinea-pigs.piczo.com)) who takes in rescues from time to time.
She contacted us on a forum after I posted that I was looking for a himalayan sow who wanted a good home - well, and now shes with us :) Marvin absolutely ADORES her.

And this is where they live:

What beautiful piggies!!

Milka is a fab colour - very unusual.

I love your cage set up too! Do all 3 of them have access to the whole cage or is it in sections?

I wouldnt say unusual, she is an ordinary chocolate himalayan, but I do think she is gorgeous all the same :)
Love them all to bits. :)
They have access to all four floors, thats the whole point of me building it! Lily and Marvin used to be in a normal 120x60 PetshopCage, and when I started thinking about getting another piggie, I thought: I need more space! As we are living in a quite small cottage though, and space on the ground is limited, we just built into the air instead :)

Each level is 75x50 cm, so in total its 1.5 square metres, just the right size for three or four piggies :)
