I was looking through my pigtures and realised I don't have any of the lovely Ernie so I have set to work this morning!
Ernie was originally taken to Thistle Cavies after he fell out with his cagemate and he waited up there for a forever home without much luck. He and Spock then came down to me for rehoming to free up some space for the many, many poorly pigs who were rescued and needed the specialist care that Thistle is so good at!
He is a really tiny pig and can fit in the palm of my hand even though he is about a year old and so fully grown. I thought his size may make him suitable to pair up with Arthur but he doesn't realise he is only tiny and so the pairing up hasn't worked! I had fallen for him by then though so I decided to keep him with me anyway!!! He was originally called Nero but he has now been Christened "Ernie" because his chin looks like he has been slurping milk so he is named after the fastest milkman in the west!!
