If anyone notices a post they consider to be spam could they please use the "report post" button on the top right (warning triangle) to alert admin and mods. The poster will then be dealt with more swiftly as we are also alerted via email.

Please do not reply/respond to spam posts.

Thank you!

Just bumping this up. Please remember that spam messages will be responded to quicker if you use the report post button as ALL moderators and admin will be alerted rather than messaging us individually.

Thanks.

Please can I remind all members NOT to reply to or quote spam posts. We've had to spend quite a lot of time these last couple of days removing quotes that have spam links on them. Simply reporting the post is enough. Thank you!

Another wee reminder not to respond to spam posts. Helpful though it is it tends to bump the post up the forum meaning more people are likely to click the links/think it's a genuine post.

Fankoo!

Just a wee note to say in case anyone was wondering why some spam posts are getting through I'm playing with a few settings so that members won't need manually verified. Hey, at least 2 spammers in one day is better than 35 in a day as before! If it becomes a big problem again I'll review. Thanks to folk who have been reporting and not replying!
