I thought id put a memory of a very special cat to me called Kimi.I Lost her in July i know its a while ago so i hope you dont mind me putting her on here.Since i lost her ive had some comforting things happen, i dont mean ive seen her ghost or anything but just little signs that i personally think shes still round. It maybe me just wishing her to still be here or maybe some part of them never leaves you.I took losing her extremely hard and especially as i couldnt get her bck to bury her in our garden.3 days after i lost her, i was stood at the sink washing the pots (im chief bottle washer at our house lol) and i felt a very slight vibrating sensation around my ankle i thought nothing of it until it moved to my other foot
.I wanted to put this as i hope you dont think im barking mad and hope with me ,that our loved pets never do really leave our side.
R.i.P kimi

8th October 2005 --5 July 2006.

Your favourite chair is vaccant now, no eager purrs to greet me,
No softly padded paws to run estatically to meet me,
No coaxing rubs, no plaintive cry will say its time for feeding.
Ive put away your bowl and all the things you wont be needing,
But i will miss you little friend, for i could never measure
The happiness you brought me, the comfort and the pleasure.
And since God put you here to share in earthly joy and sorrow
Im sure there'll be a place for you, in Heavens bright tomorrow.

Kimi when we first got her and the last one was taken a week before she was killed on a main road that was 4 streets away, ill never know why she wandered so far. That first night when she never came home, i was worried , the next day i asked all the neighbours to search their sheds and as ive got fantastic neighbours they all looked for me.The day after that the lady across the road , knockered on my door and told me about a lady who was at the bus stop who was talking about a little tabby cat, she had seen get knocked down on the road.I knockered on all the doors on that road and i finally found the old ladies house who had witnessed what had happened, she was very kind and explained to me that she had seen the accident and promised me Kimi had been killed Instantly and she moved and covered her body. But the council had already been and collected the body.Kimi had been cremeted before i got the chance to bring her home.
But shes with me in my thoughts everyday.

That is a beautiful poem, and she looked like a beautiful cat. One concelation is that she did not suffer.

Perhaps she missed you and came back to say hello.
Run free at the bridge little one. :'( xx

aww so sorry as already said she did'nt suffer and dont think we think you are mad, I too lost one of my 2 dogs charlie in July on 24th the day after my daughters 11th birthday, I still feel him around me and at night i can sense him around us, his brother max is still with us he was 14 in oct so his time is limited with us now as well, and I believe Charlie is waiting for him, I miss him every day and know how you are feeling, times gone by but we dont forget them and I dont believe they forget us Kimi was a sweetie and the poem sums it all up

I'm so sorry about Kimi, and so sorry you were unable to bring her home.

I know what you mean about things happening - Dr Atkins is often doing things in my place. I know it's Dr :)

No i had a plague made in memory of her from ebay, theres a lady on there that makes the most beautiful plaques, her user name is teletubbybridesmaid ( i think) I just love that poem and it fitted kimi so well.
