So many people wanted to change their names last year that it got furryfriends rather exasperated! Names have to be changed manually by the administrator in order to prevent somebody who has been excluded sneaking back in under a different name and causing more trouble.

I would think incorporating the name of your rescue into your name might constitute as a legitimate reason. You will have to pm furryfriends (who is the administrator) and ask her VERY nicely!

One of the other piggy forums I had been on and been a member on you couldn't change your name at all and had to create a new account if you wanted a different name.
