View Full Version : HELP! No option to upload photos and mod's not responding to my e-mails

Hi people!

I am hoping a mod sees this message as I have e-mailed twice now over the last week or so about not being able to upload any photos, but have never heard back so I am thinking it may be going into their spam folder.

When I first went to upload some pictures, it said I could only load 2 - which I did. I later created another new album as someone wanted to see pics of my hutch, but there is no option anywhere on the page or in the settings for me to upload any new photos.
I have tried creating another album name today and a message pops up saying 'you have no photos in this album' - but there is no option to do so :0
It's getting very frusrating and I could really do with someone looking at my account and explaining why. Pretty please, with sugar on top :(

Are you wanting to put photo's into a thread? If so I use www.photobucket.com. It's free. Register with them.... and upload your photo's to there and once uploaded copy your img code and post it in the thread hey presto photo in thread :)!

thanks for replying. No, it's just to put them into my albums so they are on here permanently.
I did sign up to Tinypic so I could upload some onto pages, but If I upload them to my albums on here, can I not then just link to that and post on a page?

Sadly, the number of pictures you can upload into albums on here is very restricted; it keeps the cost of the forum licence down (which runs on donations from members).

That is the reason why we have such a lively picture section - people use free http://www.photobucket.com to upload their pictures and then copy/paste them onto wherever you want on this forum (or the internet). With photobucket, you can post an unlimited amount of pictures.

Ah, I see. Does that mean only 2 pics allowed at any one time then?? lol.

He he, awww, thanks for that. Yes, that's my Oyster, aka Oiky 'The Oikster'. She is always curling up and loves cuddling up on my and when she was poorly and I had to do some computer work, I put her in the cuddle pouch next to me. 8:)

I could be wrong.... But I think the number of pics you are allowed in albums is based on how many posts you have made.

If you want to show off your piggies I'd suggest opening a photobucket accounts as has been said then starting a thread with the pics in :) I'd like a look-see!

As others have said the photo albumn capacity on here is very limited so the best option for sharing pictures is to use photobucket etc and use the IMG tag so that the images show up :)

I'm not sure which of the mods you contacted and by which method as usually we are all very vigilant at keeping up to date and checking messages etc. That said the odd one does slip through to spam - especially when there are a million spam reports all come in at once!

Not really, the poor thing. She has mytosis (I think it's called that?!?!) which is where the eyelid rolls in (common in dogs) so it regularly irritates her but the only other option is an op to slice the lower lid off. Sounds worse than it is and it's quick, but the specialist we took her to has never operated on piggies before and she said it was 50/50 whether Oiky would make it :( . Now, I just put moisturising drops in when it gets back and she copes fine. She also gets bloated so I massage her belly regularly and have stopped giving them gaseous greens to see if it's just that. Otherwise, she eats like a pig, ha ha.

- re the e-mails, I just sent it via the 'contact us' bar at the bottom of my screen so heaven knows where it ended up!

I will sort out some photos then start a new thread somewhere..... ")
