Hello there - is there any way of having blogs on here? I have written a blog on another website about building my cage and it would be nice to be able to do this here too.

By the way this forum is the friendliest I have been on and I have been made to feel very welcome so thanks to all the members on here too.

I do not normally post anywhere as I have seen threads elsewhere get rather tense but I have not seen that here. There seems to be a great atmosphere here.

Also if that is not possible would it be okay to start a thread which was like that - ie a series of posts explaining how I did the cage? I did the blog originally so that I could look back on it later after I finished and see how things developed.

You can do a thread and update it; depending on how good it is, the mods might even decide to use it as a sticky thread, so we can refer to it.

Best of luck!

Oh thanks!

Everyone is so nice - I will try and sort something out in the next week while I am finishing the cage off - in a massive flurry of activity I have been shopping this weekend for the girls and got pellets, hay, hay racks, bowls and bottles.

Once I have measured up the back wall of the hay rack I will order my perspex and the cage will be practically finished apart from the sewing bits.

I am at my Mum's at the moment - we came up (80 miles) to Teesside to put some washing on and bring her the one touch tin opener - the one with the man with the twirling wig on the advert - as she has just had a carpal tunnel op and can't do a lot of stuff. Lovely to see them as well - showed her a photo of the furry family on the computer and she liked them. One of them is named after her by daughter number 2.

Not looking forward to the drive back and definitely not looking forwards to forcing daughter number 1 to finish her homework for Monday!!
