My poor little Thumper...

Hiya I want to pay tribute to my first ever pet Thumper. As youve probably already guessed by the name he was a rabbit, I was only young and he was taken away from me...

by a fox I was told by my parents, but it took them until last weekend to tell the truth... they told me they lied that my poor bunny was savaged, they had really taken him back to where they got him because of his violent tendancies.

So for about 15 years I have believed that!!! Which made me always hate the foxes in animals of farthing wood... so his offspring could still be out there somewhere...

Aww, thats so mean. I would rather have been told that they had taken the rabbit back to where they had got him from lol.

Oh lukey. Us parents do these thigns to protect our kids. To behonest i think i would of told the truth then say a fox had it. Oh well. I'm sure you will get over it. ;D

Aww, must have been heart-breaking to find out the truth. My parents would never lie to me, but I'm sure yours only did it so you wouldn't get upset - since you were young.

thanks for your support, I just dont understand why they would take a story with a nicer ending of them taking him back and change it for a story of a grizzly death... nevermind il get over it one day, after plenty of psyhciatric help

when I was little (about 4) my first goldfish died. My mother said it had swum away to the sea. Even at that age I couldn't understand how it got from the tank on the table to the sea . . . .!!!
