Big Bunny Breeding Boom

I was searching all the free add sites to see if i could get my hands on some fairly cheap rabbit and guinea pig accessories and couldn't help but notice they were swamped with adverts for French Lops and Continetal Giants and British Giants....Why have big bunnies suddenly gotten so popular?? ???

As a side note...believe it or not, some woman actually had the nerve to COMPLAIN and kick up a fuss because we sold the giant bunnies neutered!!!!!! And that she thought it was ridiculous that we didn't give people the opportunity to breed their pet if they wanted!!! 98)

I think a lot of people get them when they're little and cute and then when they're big they're not as appealing so they don't want them anymore. Just like dogs and cats. It's awful.

Stanley is sort of a big bunny... i think theyre adorable :) so big and floppy lol
But i agree... sometimes when they get bigger they arent as 'cute' :(

I would love one of the really giant rabbits - imagine taking one for a walk!
Me and the OH have often talked about getting a giant bun, but I would want him to have the run of the garden and ours is not that big really... also our 2 buns would be miffed!

I would love to have stanley as a house bunny or have the backyard but we have a pool out back and a staffy indoors ;D not a good mix
