How come I don't get notification when other post in my threads?

I don't get any notifications when I post in others threads. Or when some one posts in a thread I have started. I have check my profile and my user CP but nothing. So I have to search the posts to find them. So is there a way to get notified?

Thread tools > Subscribe to this thread > Notification Type > Add Subscription (this is located at the top right of the thread)

You can also subscribe when posting a new thread it's down the bottom in additional options.

Alternatively in User CP in Settings & Options click edit options you can change Default Thread Subscription Mode.

Thx! So for the last thing * put, if I do that will I still have to manually subscribe? Or will it just automatically do it when I post? :)
