I have been trying to get grids and correx for ages and I am finding it impossible. Does anyone have any they would be willing to sell?

B&Q in Stirling had the grids when I was in about 3 weeks ago. They were on a high shelf in the storage section. The correx I got from CPS supplies on ebay - reasonable price and quick delivery. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Correx-Sign-Boards-4mm-White-1220mm-x-813mm-x-5_W0QQitemZ250103366674QQihZ015QQcategoryZ46742QQs sPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Hiya - this is my first post - nice to see that I'm not the only piggy addict in Scotland ! daftscotslass - I'm in Larbert so Stirling B&Q would be very handy. Have you made up your cage yet ? Any advice you can give me on the amount of Correx I would need to make a good sized cage for 2 piggies would be very welcome. We have 2 boys - Rocky is 6 and a half and we just got Zak at the weekend 'cos Rocky's pal, Oz, died last week and he was missing the company. They're in separate (too small) cages just now, though they get plenty of running about outside and in the utility room ! But I'd like to try them in together as long as the cage was big enough................thanks for your help

Yes I've had my C&C cage for a couple of years now. I'm just about to move house and it's going to be ridiculously large. I was in B&Q again at the weekend and they still had 1 box left. Was tempted to get it but I do have another box - I lent it to my friend but have yet to receive it back! I wouldn't go smaller than 2 grids by 4 grids for 2 boars to give them plenty room - you can get your correx measurements on www.guineapigcages.com.
Totally off-topic but if you're interested in high quality piggy food, hay and megazorb as bedding, Torwood garden centre has it all. I get all my supplies there and it's fantastic.
Drop me a line if you need any more advice, I'm just down the road!
Thanks for that - I'm away to get a measuring tape and see how that size of cage would fit. We're never out of Torwood - it's just round the corner. The cafe has really good scones! Will have to stay away this weekend 'cos they have a new litter of baby piggies (long haired) and they'll probably be ready to sell by the end of the week - far too tempting ;)
Might need to come back to you once I have the materials - unless I can persuade OH to make the cage. Even he's quite taken with the new wee baby.

Bah, didn't realise they had pigs in again. I enjoyed it without the pigs. Far too many homeless piggies in this area to go out and buy them, anyway!
i have been searching the net for weeks looking for grids aswell ...seems all the places ive been told have discontiued them......im in dover can anybody help please.... :-\

Hi. I got my cubes from http://www.screwfix.com/search.do;jsessionid=L31F1DLOCFZUYCSTHZPCFFI?_dync harset=UTF-8&fh_search=cube+storage and my correx from a local sign/pvc window supplier. Estate agents and local sign makers may be able to put you in touch with a supplier of correx. Mine cost in the region of £12 for a large sheet (which would need cutting down to fit in a normal size car). Hope this is helpful.
