My nannans dog Bess has not been very well these last couple of weeks..she is hardly eating anything but is still a (not so) little fighter. Some days she seems so sad and depressed but then the next she is soo happy and jumping around and everything. They've been back to the vets numerous times and have tablets and everything, but you can't just feed her a tablet and expect her to take it, so it's disguised in food, but when she's not eating it's not much help! Sometimes she even finds it in the food and spits it out ::) Please send lots of good vibes to her, we can't loose her :'( She is about 13 years old this year..she's been there since I was born. A little about her..13 years ago, on Bonfire night my nannan had her dog, Benji, put to sleep, I'm not sure why, I never asked, and seeing as I wasn't there at the time I never knew. Just before Christmas the same year my nannan and grandad visited a rescue (or somewhere, I'm not quite sure) and found "Jess" there. It was love at first sight apparently ;) "Jess" was only a puppy at the time, but had already had a bad start in life. They weren't quite sure what happened, but "Jess" has always been scared of tall school boy like people, especially with bags on their back. Upon coming home nannan renamed her Bess, but she's usually called Bessy ;) Whenever Bess heard a baby crying, she went looking for it, if it was on the TV she went behind the TV trying to find it. If she heard one in the street she her ears would perk up and she would go crazy trying to find the crying baby. Then I was born and I replaced the baby in her previous life. I think that's a pretty nice story, but I am biased I guess :P Anyway, me and Bess have been there for eachother for 13 years, we can't loose her now, and I know my nannan can't either. She is trying everything and anything to get her to eat, but she's not really interested in food most days.
I know that's a bit of a long winded way of explaining, but please wish lots of happy and healing vibes to Bess :smitten: :-*
Thanks
