I have got a huge exercise ball that i don't need. It is suitable for a Rat and have been told a Chinchilla, but as i don't know about Chinchillas i'm not sure :-\
Anyhoo, the circumference measures 32 inches and the entrance door thingy measures 6 inches. It can be taken off the stand so they can roll around the room, or just stay on the stand for safety.
It's pink and in great condition, made my Pet Brands. It's held together by screws so is very sturdy!
Postage for this would be about £3. So make me an offer ;)
(Peter Rabbit in the photo to show how large it is)

Those things are horrible for rats, they panick in them and they prefer to run free rather than being enclosed.
SOME rats will 'put up and shut up' but I really wouldnt recommend them.

Yeah stupid companies!!! Chinchillas are jumpers anyway!!!! ;)
No offense but i dont think balls are suitable for any small animal because they can break or damage their back!

yer... I agree... its a nice idea, you cant lose them and dont have to 'pet-proof' the house but they can get hurt in them :(
and also they get scared and go to the toilet in them which ends up spinning round with the animal, not nice! I would not recommend these for any pet
People use them for hamsters but I wouldn't personally..how do you know if they're enjoying running or trying to get out??
Sorry Guinea-Tia-Flossie, I guess these aren't the responses you wanted to here ;)

LOL it doesn't matter, i've never used it as i've not had a rat or hamster or anything like...I was given it by someone who thought i'd have use for it, but i don't so am trying to sell it...i'll probs put it on ebay when i get back off hols and give her the money :-\

If you got it for free Id say just bin it! If you put it on ebay anyone could buy it and its really not suitable for any animals...especially rats!
I've seen them hung up in rat cages just as like I dunno..a little place to hide/play/sleep/poop/whatever in? :P

Yeah my hamster peed and pooped in his ball, also I wasn't sure he enjoyed it, and he used to run full speed into chair legs and crash , so I don't use it. We got him a Revolution attachment to his Crittertrail cage which he seems to like, its like a giant wheel with a house in the middle!.

Just as Jane said these balls are useful to attatch to a rat cage for them to play and sleep in. I wouldn't ever put one of my rats in them to run about in, but they sure do love sleeping in them if you hang them up in their cage!
