This is Schmichael! He is a very special little man. :-* He is a house rabbit and has lived with me since 2005. He was very badly neglected in his first home and was rescued by my friend's son Richard. He lived with Richard and his mates for a few months but they didn't really have much time for him. Richard then asked his mum if she knew anyone who would like him. She immediately thought of me! :D

He is a very very much loved little man now though! :smitten: :smitten:

Schmichael has been rather sad since Badger left us. He would sit next to Badger's cage whenever we were out and he is clearly missing his little mate. :'( :'(

He is really small! :) Not much bigger than a piggy. He has a BIG personality though! :D

Aww it's so :( he's :( bout Badger :'( I know they were close, could he have another friend to guard?

He seems to know whenever one of them isn't well. When Hannah (piggy not daughter - they are both called Hannah) was ill with pneumonia he started the guarding. He didn't move from her cage until she was well again! From when Badger had his first operation he started to sit by him whenever we went out or throughout the night. He would sit bolt upright - he took his job very seriously!

When I go out I say 'mummy is going out now but she will be back soon' and he puts his little face up in the air to kiss me. :smitten:

He isn't really much bigger than a guinea pig! :) But what he lacks in size he makes up for in personality!!! :D

Ah! He's adorable, looks just like my Benjamin when I was a kid with one white leg! Gorgeous! Is he house trained? My last rabbit Flopsy ( lol yes I was brought up on Beatrix Potter!) could never quite get the hang of it, I tried it all trays with hay and old poops in etc but he never quite understood and went around the tray instead!! But your Schmichael is a beauty!!

He is house trained when he wants to be! LOL Recently he has been pooing in the piggy room and I can't seem to stop him doing that! He has got a cage which he usually uses as a litter tray and that is downstairs. He just hops in and out of it whenever he wants to go. I think I am going to have to put him a litter tray in the piggy room though. He likes going in to see them but I am sure Mr Tiggy and Joe aren't too impressed to have him pooing right next to their cage all the time!!

He can get away with anything though! He only has to look at me with his big soulful eyes and I forgive him! He is such good company. He follows me round the house. I love him to bits!! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

I used to find poops in the toes of my shoes, the rabbit poops roll much better than the piggy ones don't they??!! Just harder to find as they travel further!!!!! Charming!

;D ;D ;D At least he hasn't tried that trick yet!!! Don't go giving him any ideas though!!! He is obsessed with shoes - especially black ones. He wipes his chin over everyones shoes. The minute anyone comes into the house he is there checking out their shoes! :D

He's really small. Everyone who meets him is surprised how small he is. He does love following me everywhere though and running around my feet. I have lost count of the times I have nearly trodden on him. I now have to remember to shuffle everywhere! :D

I always fancied having Riffy as a "house guinea".

Badger used to have loads of time out the cage running around the floor. :) He was a devil for chewing wires though so you couldn't take your eyes off him for a second! ! He would have so loved to have been Free Range Badger! :)

Yes his blanket says My Bunny - could only get it in pink though - but thats ok cos when you are as manly as he is you don't worry about having pink stuff! :D

Still can't talk - some would say thats a good thing! Off to docs in a minute!
