Anyone got a tarantula? I love them especially Chilean Roses.

I havn't but I think my cousin has one, not sure whether they still do...

I don't think one will be entering my house anytime soon either ;) I think they're beautiful but not my thing ;)

Do you have/want one/some Lucinda? ;)

I think they're lovely to look at but would be scared of touching one :-\ :P

My 11 year old daughter has one!! She all so has a curly hair and a bird eating spider. The Chilean Roses is an adult and you should have seen her when she shred it was fantastic. The other 2 she has are tiny and one of them is in a camera film tub ( the old tubs you used to get with the film). I didnt like them at first but they are ok as long as the lid is on! Are you thinking of getting one?

HI We have 12 Tarantulas including an adult Chile Rose. Very fascinating to watch.

oh i'll have to show my bf these pics, he's always going on about getting one but i hate spiders/tarantula's..they do look pretty but to have them in my house would be a completely diff story!

I think Tarantulas are lovely to look at but that's close enough for me :o

mmm, sorry, don't really like them! Plus OH would camp outside if we had a spider that size in the house! What do they eat?

crickets and locusts!! My Oh does that bit tho , I hate the creepy crawlies!! ;)

yes, its the big fat hairy abdomen that makes me go funny too!! :o There is not a chance in my lifetime that i would have one of them in my house!! :) NO NO NO!!! ;D

My boyfriend has a Mexican red Knee, i've touched her and she feels lovely, like velvet, i need to hold her, will hold her this weekend :D

I think snakes are awesome! I've held quite a few! I love the feel of their scales!

I love tarantulas, however, I don't love them so much to own. Maybe in the future. :)

She does look a very pretty spider and I have total respect for them - but no, I couldnt own one or pick one up..... I think its just the way they move their legs and everything, just makes me a bit funny - I can have a go at holding anything else like snakes or stick insects, but just not big spiders - anything bigger than a money spider, and i'm afraid the boyfriend has to take it out of the house for me.. apart from this one spider we have in the bedroom at the moment, he's quite big but doesnt scare me... He's called Ralph - he's cool :)
