how do you add friends?

if you go to user CP (left on the top bar), there is a section networking/friends and contacts. Make sure that you type the name correctly.

It's one of the functions the forum deleted at one stage (this was to reduce costs etc..) ......but us old members :)) who've had accounts for ages still seem to have some things on our account !

I think they deleted the friends setting shortly before I joined. But no matter, you're all my friends anyway! :)

i have managed to add jinnywig who requested me as a friend, but still cant add others.

Yes thats right. We had to delete a few features on the forum as it was costing a huge amount to run and we were incurring extra charges every month due to going over our bandwidth.

I tried adding friends and they went into contacts but didn't come up as friends.
