Anyway today seems to have gone really quick. It was nice outside, but it's chucking it and is very dull!

I'm sitting by the hot radiator! My boys are asleep and so is the cat! Snoring away like his dad!

Have not long written the story for Mrs Mod and taking pleasure in reading it all! It doesn't make much sense! LOL

I'm trying to sing along to the radio, good job I'm on my own! Friends keep texting me and making me jump! The vibration goes right through the table! And on the forum!! LOL

I also have to get a half our singing set ready for tomorrow as i have a meeting with my agent and i have to perform the set to him :o scary!!!!!

my son has been of school because of a strike so he came with me and my daughter to the toddler group after that came home tidyed up then went to my mums then come home waiting for over half to get home then of to tescos on the way back from tescos drop in at sister in laws cause its her birthday then come home get kids to bed then relax lol

Hi i got Harry this AM then went to college and my day did NOT go quick, my friend Millie got her empty Hula Hoops bag filled it with junk and taped it shut then swaped it with our friends she didnt notice till she opened it so funny, errrrrm then i took some pics of Harry and erm came on the forum with a throbbing swollen finger (Thanks Harry!) lol x

Sorry it's late :) I too had one off because of the the strike, took hubby to work this morning, came home tidied up then took the little'un for a hearing test, he had glue ear when he was younger and had grommets and now he has 3 monthly hearing tests to make sure everythings still ok.

Then we came home and were about to settle down for an afternoon of cuddling up on the sofa watching films, when his little friend phoned and asked if Arun could come over to play, so I spoke to his mum who sounded so frazzled that I offered to have him over here instead. Bang went the quiet afternoon.

I spent most of it on the phone trying to find a shop that sells science selective pellets, but couldn't, so now they're eating a mix. Might have to buy it online.

aww, he doing ok with his hearing? My little nephew Lee has glue-ear, he's 3 and can't really talk much.. Hoping for the doctor to do something soon.

You're mad to have his mate over, you two should've just watched films together! :D

You might be able to get the science selective cheaper online..

Yes it can definately affect their speech, they did quite a bit of "wait and see" with him before they finally did the grommets. He was 4, and had been failing hearing tests for a couple of years.

My cousin Emma has glue ear and i wish she was quiet she SHOUTS! all the time every thing she says and i know she cant help it but its LOUD! hehe i dont like loud. she got something from the doc though hope they get better soonx

it was me that told them he needs his ears done again, the dr said his hearing isnt perfect but it will do its at its best since he has had the problem, i said his hearing may not ever be perfect but at least give him a chance so she referred him and the dr at the hospital looked in his ears and said he needs another set of grommets and his adenoids done, he has never had his adenoids checked which i was told when he had his first set of grommets his adenoids was checked so they lied to me. never take no for an answer.

Aww thats good, i wanted to be a speech therapist but i dont think im patient enough lol, My sisters been seeing one for 18 years but they wont ever give up she said the word Milk when she was 16 that was her first word so i admire them persisting, oh oh she said Mum and More the other week oh oh and Yeah lol i think she copies me yeh is what i say all the time its not a definant Yeh but you can make it out when you praise he she thinks shes in trouble so she gets worried lol but its so exciting lol oh look at me going on x

aww thats great Verity! My mate Sam, she has cerebral palsy and cant talk either, although she can say 'yeah, book, and bye.. she has a talker that she uses with her feet (lights flash and she presses them to enable words to come up on a screen), almost like having the mouse on you foot..!

Always emailing each other too as she lives in Scotland..
