My beloved guinea pig, squeak, passed away 1 year ago but i still want to cry when i think of the way he would run to me when i came in the door and sat on your lap when you brought grass inside the house. I miss him so much. No other piggy will ever be able to replace him. I miss his little twitchy nose and cute dark eyes. But he has gone to the giant run in the sky. Please please R.I.P Squeaky baby x we all love and miss you so much that you wouldnt believe how much x :'( :smitten:

Aww, lots of hugs to you. It's never easy, but it does get easier - our doggy Jack was put to sleep 2 years ago and I still cry about him all the time :(

RIP Squeak xx

Awwh! *hugs*
We lost a 2days old baby a week ago:(:( Hardly knew her but she was full of life, next morning she was gone :( She had just started popcorning and eating (nearly crying posting this) no piggie could replace custard (that was her name) :'(
It's so hard losing pets you love so much!
Hope things get better for you hun!

its wonderful you still have such strong feelings for squeak after a year it proves what a big part of your life he was and how much of a strong memory he has left behind , we all feel like this , last year I lost my 13 year old dog charlie and a few of my darling pigs and still think daily of them , as I still have Charlies brother Max I only need look at him to see Charlie and its hard , but it does get easier not much but it does, think of the good times and if you want to cry do so let it out dont bottle it all up, sweet dreams little squeak mummys missing you so much xx

Millie was the first pet I ever had that I could call my own (and I'm getting on now!!). When she had to be put to sleep 2 months ago I was heartbroken. She was such an individual piggy and I cried buckets!
My daughter made a little RIP card for me with Millie's picture and dates on it which is on the fridge door. I think of the good times now.
It gets better with time.
