    Evening primrose

Thanks so much - I do loiter sometimes, just don't have much 'pooter time these days (I usually fall asleep over the keyboard when I finally manage to get here - as Wiebke can confirm :) )

    Evening primrose

Can anyone please advise whether evening primrose leaves or flowers are ok to feed guinea pigs. I have masses in my garden, and would love to use them - but don't dare try without asking first. Thanks.

Anyone else use Alfalfa king timothy hay?

I use this, and like you think it's well worth it. I do also use a lighter "fluffier" hay both for eating and burrowing into, but this is Top Favourite.

    Grease gland removal

Oh I will - he'll enjoy that, Claire :) He had x-rays done at the same time, as he seems to be having a mobility problem and it turns out he has calcification in his spine, hips and knees. Doesn't seem to be bothering him, just that he doesn't move around as much, and lies in the same place a...

    Grease gland removal

My Sorrell had a growth on his grease gland, and went in for surgery to remove it on Thursday. In fact the vet has removed the whole gland (and saved it for us to see - very strange looking - it's been sent away for analysis). I am curious to know how vital the grease gland is? I know its...
