Default Free BNF (medical/drugs reference book)

I have a BNF for March 2008, free to anyone who wants it.

For anyone who doesn't know, these are the officially recognised drugs reference books used in pharmacies, hospitals etc when prescribing meds. They are released every 6months (although the content from issue to issue is almost exactly the same-just the odd addition of a new drug)

They outline every drug that is used in the UK, explaining uses, side effects, reasons not to use the drug, dosages, and cost. It would be useful to someone who was on a variety of medications and wants to know more about them, or who is interested in healthcare-e.g student nurse, medical student etc. These books are worth £30, but I get them free from work, and this one is going spare at home, so someone may as well make use of it...

Just to point out, this is the adult BNF-not the paediatric version.

It isn't sad at all, it's very interesting!! Especially when I see someone on the bus coming back from the chemist, and just by seeing the name of the drug, I can work out what's wrong with them...! Hehehehe!

Sophie, would it be ok if "piggiewiggie" had this issue? I am sure that it won't be long before I can get hold of another issue for your friend-the new issues will be out in March, and they always have the previous issue laying around.
Just think that it would benefit "piggiewiggie" and her family more-as they are on lots of meds. Ummm...at a guess, I would think P+P would be about £2.50, as it is quite heavy (950 pages). Let me know if this is ok?

I think I may still have this copy, as the member I offered it to never got back to me. I am inbetween moves, but if I come across it, will let you know! sometimes I can also pick them up from work easily like March and September when the new ones are released, and old ones are then no longer needed.
