Piggy Valentines in aid of ChinsRus Chinchilla Rescue

Hello Everyone!

Do you love your piggies?

Does one of your sows have a crush on the boar nextdoor?

Does your neutered boar need to show his herd just how much he loves them?

Have you fallen in love with a piggy on the rescue and rehoming board but cannot take it in due to distance, lack of space or ongoing financial commitments?

Do you love your sponsor piggy?

If you have answered 'yes' to any of these questions then 'Piggy Valentines' are for you!

I am launching four new cozy designs especially for Valentine's Day. They will sell at £7 for a standard cozy, £9 for a large and £11 for an XL. This includes postage to the UK. Postage to the EU will be 50p extra and to the Rest of the World £1.50 extra. Last posting for surface mail to distant destinations is 1st Feb, so if you want to order you must get your skates on.

You can order for your own pigs, for someone else's pig or for a rescue pig. If you let me know which rescue you want it delivered to I will contact them and ask for their address.

The cozy will have hearts appliqued on it both inside and outside the cozy, so your piggies will always know that they are loved.

I will also giftwrap in red tissue paper, tie the parcel with red ribbon, sprinkle it with glitter confetti (not piggy safe, so do let me know if you want me to leave it out) and include a specially-designed piggy Valentine card.

My first new design is called 'strawberries and cream'. It has a matching card which reads 'Roses are red, cozies are too'. Because it is two-tone, this cozy is particularly attractive when reversed:

The second design is called 'peaches and cream'. It has a matching card which reads 'Snugglepig, you're a peach':

The third design is called 'shades of blue'. It has a matching card which reads 'I'm blue without you':

The fourth design is called 'latte and cream'. It has a matching card which reads 'Snugglepig, I love you a latte':

I can also make a heart cozy in any colour in any size or a heart tunnel in any colour. I currently have fleece or acrylic in pale blue, pale petrol blue, mid-blue, inky blue, royal blue, turquoise, grape, mid-purple, bright pink, candy pink, grey, peach, dark pink and black.

A 'pick your own colour' heart cozy or tunnel would come with a card reading 'Piggies, I love you all'. I would also design other cards if you particularly wanted a different message.

Orders must be placed by Friday 5th February and paid for by Sunday 7th February in order to be posted on Monday 8th February. In keeping with the Valentine spirit, I intend to hold all orders until then so that they arrive near the day itself, but if you particularly want me to send yours early then I can do this on Monday 1st Feb.

As with all of my other items, for every five I sell I will be donating one to a rescue and for this reason I will be more than happy to send rescue valentines directly to the rescues or their foster carers.

Please place your order by pm or by registering your interest in this thread so that I can contact you. Bear in mind that my inbox might be oversubscribed if lots of people want to take part.

I have already raised over £100 for ChinsRus and have donated items to Assisi Animal Sanctuary, Belfast, Becklen Guinea Pig Rescue, Guineawigs Rescue, Cavy Rescue and Retreat and Thistle Cavies.

Hello Sue_G and thanks for your order. All of the heart cozies are lovely, but the strawberries and cream one is particularly effective. I wasn't able to upload more than 8 pictures to my original post, but here is a pic of the inside of the strawberries and cream cozy:

Paying by cheque is absolutely fine. I will pm you my address as soon as the private messages start working again. They were working fine when I went to bed (early this morning lol!) but some gremlins seem to have entered the system. I see from the 'Forum Help' Section that I am not alone.

They are £7 for 11 inches by 11 inches, £9 for 11 inches by 14 inches and £11 for 11 inches by 17 inches. This includes postage to the UK, giftwrapping in red tissue paper and a homemade card.
