Yes that's what we are trying to avoid. Maybe I'll try to put puppy pee pads on top of the uhaul in the kitchen area and check them every day. Maybe this winter making some pee pads would be a good project. I don't know if I would want to put uhaul padding in the pee pads or try something else...
We don’t have coroplast yet, that’ll come when we build the c&c cage. Right now we have the Midwest Cage, which just has a canvas base. The uhaul pad sits on that, and the fleece is on top. I was wondering if right now we need to put any additional material under the uhaul pad.
My Sisters 3 girls go in the corners as well!I do have a Joanns here in NY and I got two sets of fleece to swap out when one is being washed. The kitchen like mentioned is going to be a hit or miss it came all together in the 2x4 starter pack cage so I figured what do I have to lose just was not...
Sorry not heard of this but our search function got loads on about it.... check check check it out..........! Search results for query: uhaul
Hope it is useful and find you an answer
...since the far wall of the cage is velcro'd to the floor. Probably just cutting up two pieces would work. I read about a recommendation to use UHaul moving blankets, which sounds like a pretty easy solution.
We've been rotating bags and cardboard boxes to keep things interesting, though they...
So I was thinking of using uhaul padding and I was wondering, when washing and drying should I put them in a pillow case so it catches the lint like you would with fleece etc? This may or may not be a stupid question I just don’t want to shrink my padding or break my washing machine lol xx
Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a great day!
I was looking into making some fleece liners with Uhaul and fabric and wanted to know if I would still be able to watch for health problems (blood or discharge) without puppy pads underneath? Eddie currently has fleece on top of puppy pads...
I would try clipping the fleece to the cage (can’t remember if you have them in a hutch or cage/c&c). So uhaul, fleece then mats. I would still use them on top of the fleece in any case. My girls love to burrow and they used to end up under the fleece 🙄 now they like to burrow under the puppy...
Hello! I'm new to this forum, hello to you all! I have a question for those of you that use u-haul padded fleece liners or have made them yourself :)
I am a new owner of two adorable 6-month old girls. I recently upgraded their cage to a 3x5 C&C so they have tons of room to run around!
I...
here is our cage. it’s technically the “all living things guinea pig penthouse” it has waterproof canvas as the base. I have the uhaul liner on the bottom, and fleece on the top and i used clips to clip it to the sides an inch or two.
I haven’t seen a Midwest cage so when you say canvas I am picturing my friends beautiful Bell tent, in which case I would put a layer of something, shower curtain, oilcloth, in between to protect it and make cleaning easier.
But if a Midwest owner comes along and disputes that then I won’t...
We get ours from Tesco trouble is for the purpose you are looking for it's got to be Cotton top. Or it won't absorb then over that you put the fleece. A single one over here is about £10. You don't fill them with anything. Uhaul, sorry I wouldn't have a clue with them. Are you in the U.K?
Yes the corners get bad quickly in the kitchen/hay area, I don't use Uhaul but my liners have toweling underneath. I put extra thick liners in this area as well as thick pee pads on top and change them out morning and evening. The rest of the cage remains fairly good and lasts the week but these...
...That sounds like a cool name! I'm glad you like my idea though.
Here. I drew on some old pictures and attached the one with the clearest view so you can look at thickness as well. These are double lined with Uhaul, so if you use something really fluffy and large, yours might end up a bit...
Hi, I have been using uhaul furniture pads for only 3 weeks now. I have washed them a few times successfully. I am curious if any one knows approximatly how many washes until they lose efficacy and I need to replace them. Thank you.
