First Attempt At Sewing A Pee Pad So Don't Laugh!

I started making my own just this month, too! I've found that the doubled-uhaul is just hell on my sewing machine, so I'm using single layers now. Keep going, looks great!

    Washing Fleece Liners

@rome_italy Thank you for the information! Your piggy mansion looks great! I washed my uhaul ones on 40°C. I also will wash it on 60°C to see how much it will shrink before I wash the other one and start making my liners. I also have a bag that I can wash the fleece in which keep the hair from...

You are a star thank you. Is it the same as uhaul then? Would it work with just fleece on top and uhaul underneath?

    Fleece Fail

Hi Lissie, thank you for your reply. Where do you buy uhaul or zorb? I've read uhaul meant to be denim, but movers blankets I've found were not. The fleece doesn't feel wet. And I too found towers to stink so stopped using them. The only area I've found to hold a lot of urine was under hanging...

    The Girls Cage Tour

Yes most of the cage is fleece lined. The hay area has a bedding made out of paper pellets. I buy/make fleece liners out of uhaul blankets sewn between two layers of fleece. I change and wash the girls fleece every 2-3 days. They use the litter area pretty well and hardly pee/poo on the fleece...

    New Fleece Bedding

I thought that uhaul was good too but didnt realise that in America it is made of recycled denhim (how do you spell that)? and over here removal blankets are a kind of grey fluffy stuff that do not absorb well. Mine have been very useful dog bedding though. Polar fleece is the cheap stuff and...

    Fleece Liners And Baxter Pads?

So I have been looking at making my own fleece liners for my boys as buying them is SO expensive! I have heard pros and cons to the Uhaul furniture pad route, something about them disintegrating in the wash. So I thought maybe Baxter pads for human incontinence might work? They are big absorbent...
