    Vet stumped

...lay in a bed and look sad. It happened several times over the years - she'd completely stop eating, but when I offered her goop (science selective was her favourite, I think because it was my least favourite) she was ravenous and would eat loads. Refuse it off a spoon or out of a bowl...

    Pellet/Nugget Brands Comparison Chart

They’re a good option because they are grain free (avoiding grains in their diet is a good thing), also because they are Timothy hay based. The normal version is alfalfa based (you don’t want them eating alfalfa). Although the two varieties are both the same on calcium content. And this is...

    Pellet quantity

I’ve not used the science selective much but the orange bowl is too large a portion, even for two. They will get used to the correct portion. If they seem like they’re asking for more, just fluff up the hay or top them up.

    Buying Hay In Serious Bulk

...farmers nearby. my friend uses Valebale hay and says it's good value, I'm allergic to it though. What nuggets do you use? I use science selective and they don't seem to have gone up that much. They only need an egg cup full pet Piggie a day so maybe you can reduce them? I wouldn't recommend...

A week into guinea pigs and I think I am running into some problems

In addition to the last post: Since zooplus doesn't sell Science Selective any more (ar least not in Germany/Austria), you'll have to look around if you can find an online shop you can buy it from with reasonable shipping costs. In Austria, you can sometimes sometimes get them in larger or...
