If your guinea pig won $1 billion....

I'd tell the little they can pay their own vet bills 🤣🤣 I'd like to think they would send Thistle to see a specialist..but knowing them they would hire a massive greenhouse for year round fresh wheatgrass and a lifetime supply of watermelon 😅

Wheatgrass is fine for them to eat, but Id wonder as it’s more of a treat not a replacement for hay. I'm not sure, I’ve never fed wheatgrass

To be honest i feel like she's just being a picky eater. She loves this certain type of wheatgrass i introduced to them and ever since she's low on eating her timothy hay. But whenever i open the bag of wheatgrass they instantly go and eat them. Whenever i offer timothy they just refuse and eat...

...much again, you really are a great teacher. They aren't big fans of fruit anyway, I doubt they're going to miss it :) Grass: we can grow wheatgrass at home, is that the same (we give them wheatgrass as a snack sometimes and they are crazy about it)? Cos we lack a garden. My mother in law...

...acute scurvy symptoms. This also goes for any humans on a high level of supplements; you cannot just stop them from one day to another. Wheatgrass should be more in the way of an enrichment treat; it is a bit richer than normal grass. Any dry forage means that the water has evaporated and...

Happy Pet Mega Grassy Carrots for guinea pigs?

...grass, as per the description, would be an Elymus species or Agropyron species, either of which would also be one of many species known as wheatgrass. I would also wonder whether they mean Panicum virgatum, or switchgrass, which is also sometimes called thatchgrass. All of the above are...

Critical Care Shortage Toronto (Canada). Tips on how to make your own?

Some juicing websites or wholefoods sites sell 100% wheatgrass powder, as long as there has been nothing added, I will sometimes use this to bulk out critical care or make it more palatable. Id imagine it would also be suitable to mix with soaked pellets made into a gruel.

I can’t see why it wouldn’t be acceptable, you basically want him to be tempted and encouraged to eat as much as possible. So glad to hear he’s started munching for himself, even if it is just a little! Come on Sylvester, you can do it !
