Thank you so much for your knowledge and support! I keep trying to remind myself that like you and the vet said most times all goes well. Although I am watching her like a hawk I am very relived to know there is no stone! That was my biggest worry. So far she has been taking the antibiotics like...
We saw the vet today and they did an x-ray. No stone but definitely has a UTI on urine testing. They gave us Cipro twice a day for two weeks. She said she doesn't think that she needs the Metacam but gave it to me just incase. Vet also said that they usually do not use probiotics when a pig is...
thank you so much! I have been an nervous wreck since finding the blood. I am just glad I found out who it was so quick and am doing everything I can. And I am relieved to hear she is too young for a stone to be likely.
I apologize! I meant probiotic not antibiotic! I was trying to order the probiotic online ahead of time. Does this look right?

Hello All!
Last night after a fresh fleece change in the cage I noticed a pee puddle that was tinted red. I started looking at the pigs and noticed Teto's bum was wet and had some brown stains. This was new since I spent time with them that morning. I took her out of the cage. She is in no pain...
And they are really liking the new shelf. Now they can all be up high if they want. Not just one at a time. This is a picture of teto on their house and the inspiration for the shelf
Thank you all! I got a couple things here and there and didn't realize how much hahaha. The pigs love snuggling with plush items so they are more than excited about the new items. They have been popcorning and exploring when ever they are not sleeping or eating since I out the cage together...
Hello and happy holidays to all of you I just wanted to share this video of my Christmas cage tour. I was so excited to put this together for the pigs! I hope you enjoy your holiday and have a happy new year!
I used c&c overlapping a bit and zip ties together to create ridged flat piece and then zip ties to one side of cage to creat swinging lid. One pic was when I was making kid so there is an open space
Hello! My advice would be to get them into what ever cage you intend on having them live in as soon as possible. That way they don't have to readjust twice. I first had a store bout cage with wire top. I thought that this was my only options due to a very curious young indoor cat. I have a c&c...
looks like red leaf, this is usually what I give my pigs, sometimes green leaf. I only rarely feed romaine when the store does not have any good red or green leaf
YESSSS my little babies always stand with front paws on pellet bowls while eating.. too cute! And when they all run and stand up on the side of the cage when it is treat or veggies time! Piggies are just too much!
I made my cage out of c&c zip ties and connectors. I use underneath for storage. The lid is c&c zip ties together as one solid flat piece then zip tied to one side with room for it to move like a hinge.
