dry feet

I just moved to texas so it's been very hot. I've noticed my guinea pig has 1 paw with dry skin just as a human would with dry feet. The edge of it feels dry and hard. They have air conditioning and are not hot though. Is this normal? How can I help it be less dry? Would a humidifier help at...
