Hello everyone,
I’m looking to build a cage for my piggies using grids. Has anyone purchased anything from Guinea Pig Cages Store or maybe know a cheaper/better alternative? Or maybe share any advice or your experience on building your own cage.
I have 3 individual sets of:
1 x C&C cage (2 x 4 grids OR approx 70 x 144cm = 10.85 ft² / 1.01m²)
1 x Correx Inlay Base
2 x Fleece Liners
1 x Bedding/Hay tray
That your new guinea pigs would surely love...
Here the problem: the boys' cage is up against a wall and they push their poop out through the c&c grids and it becomes trapped between the skirting boards and the side of their pen which is a pain to clean.
The solution: cot bumpers from Aldi!
Let me first off make it clear that cot bumpers...
For those of you who don't use fleece to line the bottom of your cage or grid set up, what do you like to use? I have softwood shavings at the moment which work perfectly fine. The only thing os she like to pull her veg out of its bowls to eat so some shavings get stuck to them and she eats them...
Hello!
I am looking to expand my current c&c cage but am at a loss where to find reasonably priced connectors in the UK?
Anyone got any tips as to where I can purchase these? Also grids if you know about those also.
Thanks in advance!
xx
