Hi, any help would be so appreciated.
I have 2 females, Biscuit was adopted and is at least 2 years old (actual age unknown) and one new addition that we got 2 days ago, Piglet - she’s a baby.
We did an introduction and all was really smooth. Biscuit seemed to take Piglet under her wing...
So I introduced my two sows yesterday and they are getting along famously from what I can tell. Apart from when it comes to food. Rosie (a little older and significantly bigger) doesn't seem to want to share. Even if I lay out quite a big pile, or two bowls. Rachel is more timid away and is put...
I got the pigs a large carrot house but it's too tall for them to reach all the carrot roof so I cut it shorter and gave them the off cut to munch.
Toasty seemed quite happy to share it but Beans was having none of it...
P.s I was holding my phone the wrong way so it's a bit small...
Beans' face when she realises all the food is gone and Toast has just pinched the last piece of cucumber...
"I think that was mine, Toast.."
"Excuse me, Toast, but Mum said you've to share with me."
"Sorry Beans, I don't share food"
I ended up having to give Beans another bit just to...
Beans and Toast have very different personalities.
Toast is very polite and elegant, takes her time eating.
Beans crams it in like she's never seen food before and has absolutely no table manners what so ever
Toast likes to pick the grass up bit by bit, Beans like to shove it...
I seen a thread about how piggies love paper bags so I got one.
Only issue is, yet again Beans won't share
Toast has made a few attempts to get in, but Beans has made it very clear that this bag belongs to her, and Toast may look, but not touch.
You shall not enter...
So...
Hi! I am getting two guinea pigs soon and I was wondering if you had to double everything such as the water bottle, food bowl, hidey hut, etc.
Thanks!
