1 piggies are now indoors!

We now have eleven guinea pigs all their hutches in our utility room ready for the cold winter, I now have to convince the o/h that they don't make too much mess or smell!

Anyone with a large number of piggies indoors? any tips on keeping the hay tidy and everything smelling sweet etc.

I am using fleece atm and littertrays:)
 
We have 15 in our lounge and find vet bed is really good but it is all about good husbandry really - cleaning out as often as possible rolleyes
Despite trying to contain hay, we always find they throw bits out so hoover twice a day :{

Drip trays under the water bottles helps to keep the cage drier. I use large plant saucers and as many pigs like to use it as a toilet it gets cleaned out often but means the cage stays fresher for longer.

All my lot are moving in from the shed very soon - all 60 ish of them - so keeping things fresh is important!

15 in the lounge! that's great, o/h def wouldn't agree to that but if you can keep them clean and smelling fresh I'm sure I can with 11:)

Like the idea of the plant saucers, I am using large corner littertrays atm but they take so much room up.

60! where do you put them all??
 
I'll be posting pics of everyone once they are indoors - it's a challenge!
