Today is Julie and mine's 1 year anniversary of becoming piggie slaves.
We got our first two boys, Blaze and Scampy from GBH Rescue straight after work, getting lost around Beckenham trying to find it, and almost had an accident on the way home after they changed the road layout amongst the M20 roadworks!
Blaze was very inquisitive on the way home, constantly sticking his head out of the box trying to find out what was going on, and that set the tone for his short life with us, he was always a brave and inquisitive piggie.
The first ten months of being piggie slaves were fairly enjoyable (apart from cleaning out the cages) but the last two months have been awful. First Scampy died, then Blaze followed suit a month later and since then Pepe (who we got in March) has been constantly ill with, interstitial cystitis, an internal microsporum fungal infection and four separate bacterial infections, has lost over 100 grams in two weeks and now may have problems with his teeth.
I hope things get better soon, I miss our two boys and just want our other three boys to get back to normal.
