Hiya Everyone
I'm not sure if this is the right section or not to tell you about promotions on pet foods/toys etc.
I got a promotional code for Pets At Home for 10% off.

Just ordered loads of goodies for my piggy, cat and Cockatiel and got a total of £13.75 off my order. :(|)

Has anyone noticed that Pets at Home are advertising the double hutches - Rose Cottage, Daisy Cottage and Willow Palace as suitable for guinea pigs?

We have Daisy Cottage for our rabbit who's very agile and he sometimes struggles with the steepness of the ramp so a guinea pig would have no chance of getting up and down it There isn't enough length to get the ramp at a suitable angle for pigs.

Some manage quite well with that ramp actually, I think its different for all piggies.

Plus, as its too small for a rabbit/s, it should be advertised for guinea pigs and not rabbits.

I cant wait to receive my order, ive ordered a little santa hat too lol!
It showed up in the cat section but hoping I can get little Reggie to pose with it on too :) x

I don't believe that hutch to be too small for a rabbit, 2 would be pushing it unless they were netherland dwarf size, it is high enough for a rabbit to stand on it's back legs and there's plenty of size inside, ours was attached to a 7ft run before we moved house.

Well it doesn't meet RSPCA welfare guidlines, so I class it as too small, so think its better advertised for guinea pigs.

definitely too small for a rabbit/s. it would encourage people to keep a single rabbit aswell if it was only suitable for one. :(
