looks good and good price too

I bought a couple of bags (never can resist hay bargains). Hopw they work out. My girls just finished a HUGE bag of meadow hay and I was looking for some more.

I didn't even think of that DOH. Post when you get a reply.

You would be far better buying a bale from a farm (if you have room to store it). A bale wont cost a fiver! A good way to store it is to put it in an old duvet cover. :)

haha i know i thought i had found a bargain too...untill it came in the post today haha! The bags are about the same size as an ordinary shopping bag... Least i dont have to give them that rusbbish pets at home hay now though.

Is there any where i can get a bale of hay from in Stoke on Trent? I dont drive. Thanks!

I buy bales for £3 each. They're quite big... one bale just about fits on the back seat of the car. They don't fit in a normal bin bag. We put them in wheelie bin bags, although an old duvet cover seems a good idea so might start doing that instead.

Okay it's very little hay for the money but I've put it in the cages this morning and they love it, everyone headed straight to the racks and started tucking in.

It's also very fresh indeed.
