Hi Everyone,

This is a video of my 2x10 C&C cage with 8 sows. I've been having my girls live in 4 connected Midwest cages temporarily (needed a cage that was able to be torn down quick for viewings) while my place was listed on the market, now I'm in escrow I am able to set up the C&C cage (no more open houses or private viewings)

This cage will be up for next 19 days, moving on Dec 23 from California to Colorado with the whole herd and 2 senior dogs.

That's a lovely set up, really enjoyed watching the girls toggle about

Thank you. It was entertaining watching them explore their cage again since it has been a couple weeks they were living in a different one.

lovely big cage and gorgeous piggies :luv::luv::luv::luv::luv::luv::luv::luv:

Thank you for the compliment

Loved your video and your pigs of corse x

It's funny I keep rewatching the video when I can just watch the girls live.

Wow I'm loving that corrugated loft! What a neat idea, would you mind telling us how to make one please? I bet they are loving all that space. I noticed that sweet little Smudgy lived in a box (from the comment on her on your video). Poor little love, I bet she can't believe her luck to find herself in such a lovely home now :)

If you talking about the piggie condo, then here is video on how to make it.

I no longer use bidder clips, I took a class on how to sew and made covers now.

Yes :) That's what I meant, I think it's a super idea! Thank you for sharing how it's done :)

No problem :D

I have tried several housing options for my girls and found that the piggie condo was the best option. They love to sleep together as a herd in the same area, but don't really like sharing the same house. This way they can sleep together but have individual slots.

I love this! I've been looking for a new house for my boys and thought of a rabbit hutch so they have space but this is better! Where did you get the square things to make the house? And how do you clean that! I use bedding and have tried blankets but my boys pee every second lol

The grid squares were bought on Amazon "Whitmor Storage Cubes" or can be purchase from Bed Bath & Beyond or Walmart. The coroplast/corrugated plastic can be bought in a banner/sign shop. Or you can buy already made C&C cages from guineapigcagesstore.com . Making your own is definitely cheaper.

I use fleece and use wood pellets as my absorbent layer. The wood pellets can be replace every 8-12 weeks and cost $5 USD per 40lb bag. I wash the fleece once a week, and spot clean daily.

WOW I love it, they look so happy, I really enjoyed watching the video. The condo is a great idea will certainly be giving it a go. Good luck with your move

Thank you! Sorry I feel a little slow, but can you explain the way you do the bed liner? You use fleece and wood pellets inside the liner? I'm sorry if I'm not understanding

No need to apologize. I put the wood pellets first then covered it with a fleece, it is really considered a liner. Just think you are making the bed. The corrugate plastic/coroplast is the frame, the wood pellets is the mattress and the fleece is the sheet. I'm a visual learner so I made a video on it.

Thanks for sharing, you have a great set up and gorgeous piggles too

thank you. Stay tune for further updates in probably 4 months from now. We are moving to a different state and being set up in Corporate housing for my partner's work for 3 months, during that time we are house hunting and I will have a Piggy room... I am planning on making their cage bigger.
