i gave her a haircut the other day ready for this week so she feels cooler but are there any other ways to keep her cool?

Hi and welcome

We have got plenty of practical hot weather advice with lots of tips and all sorts of little measures that in combination can actually make quite a big difference.

Please bring any outdoors piggies indoors in temperatures over 25 C. You can find tips on how to quickly improvise accommodation in the links below:

This link here is a bit of a recap of what you need to think of and prepare, and for the most commonly made mistakes by uninformed or well meaning owners: Hot weather warning for the UK - plan now to keep your piggies safe!
Here is our comprehensive Hot Weather Care guide with all the little tips and tricks: Hot Weather Management, Heat Strokes and Fly Strike

The Hot Weather Care guide is part of our much wider collection of practical how-to tips and helpful information on a wide range of topics; it reflects what we have learned from all the tens of thousands of questions in 15 years on this lively forum but also our own, often much longer owner experience and trials of new things coming up. It is one of the most extensive information resources currently around. You may want to bookmark the link, browse, read and re-read at need as you will pick up on different things at different levels of experience.
You will find that we often link in guides that contain all the little practical details since we cannot repeat them in full in every post we make and still answer all threads in our own free time.
