After seeing some of the weights mentioned on here I'm wondering if my babies are younger then I was told or if they've not been fed properly before I got them.

At just over 6 weeks (supposedly) old they weighed between 206g and 218g.

Does this seem very small? They eat very well and I'll be weighing them in a couple of days to check they're gaining well.

Thanks

This is pretty small - 250g is the average weight of a well cared for three weeks old baby. They were looking very young to me in your pictures, anyway.

Nevertheless, your babies should thrive on a good normal diet. The importrant thing is they grow at an average rate of around 20g per week (it can sometimes be a bit more or less) until they are 4-6 months old and are coming close to their genetically determined ideal weight and size. If they are smaller and not overfed, they will simply grow faster a bit longer whereas fast growing piggies will stop growing sooner. Piggies won't be fully grown until around 15 months old, so there is plenty of time to catch up. ;)
Weigh guinea pigs once weekly if they are healthy and switch to weighing them daily at the same time in the feeding cycle if you are worried or if they are ill or frail.

Thanks. Hopefully the plus side of them being younger is they hopefully aren't pregnant!

Poor little things, they eat lots and I've introduced grass and a few veggies so hopefully they'll put it on at a good rate.

Just keep to these guidelines, and your little ones will be fine, as it is not so much the amounts but the balance of nutrients that will ensure that they develop optimally and are as healthy and fit as can be! https://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk...or-a-balanced-general-guinea-pig-diet.116460/
