Erm hello, and rawr, I'm the world's most submissive little husboar? Would you like to come take over my house ladies and steal my dinner and boss me about? Maybe spray wee in my eyes and pull my ears a bit? If it isn't too much trouble at all...?
 
Oh Theo! You heartbreaker. Your new ladies are going to love you. Well they’d be mad not to! You had better get practising your rumblestrutting and rumblecrooning so that you’re ready with the welcome mat out to greet them :wub:
 
The Noo Friends are mostly for Lavender, rainbow bridge Luna's original companion who was also very close the Piggle and Puggle and boss lady Clover who also crossed the rainbow bridge...
Leaving Theo and Blod who are both over 5, plus Lavender age 3 and Hatty age 2 who just... don't get on as besties, Lavender is huge and a bit nervous and awkward, Hatty is sporty and relaxed in any company including her own, they just don't quite get on... or Hatty gets on fine regardless and Lavender doesn't lol!
Convincing Lavender she needs Noo Frends will be a key bonding point, as far as the others are concerned I could just plonk a bucketful of random pigs in the cage and I know none of them would raise an eyebrow or be the slightest bit bothered, but Lavender... is a nervous 1300g truck load of anxiety about anything Noo!
We'll be living as neighbours through a divider for a month anyway until mini Noo Frend grows a bit, she is a very Noo, Noo Frend, not long hatched :)
Very excited though, our 4 piggies is clearly not enough piggies when the rescues have gorgeous piggies spilling out of their ears and pregnant mummy pigs popping out babies all the time!
 
Here is Lavender, or "big purple" as we call her... she doesnt look that plump here because she's huge all over with paws like a big purple lion!

We have a clever plan that one of the Noo Frends looks so much like her but smaller, with a slightly different furdo, or as piggy daddy said seeing photos of the Noo Frends, "omg that's Elvis Lavender! Elvis Lavender and Chocolate Blod and what is going on with that baby's ears and eyebrows!"
So we're hoping a little sister and niece who match a bit might be reassuring for her :)
 
Actually I just realised its not completely true that Noo Frends are mostly for Lavender- they are mostly for, themselves! Because they came from a bad situation but are now in a lovely but very overcrowded foster home full to bursting with gorgeous needy piggies. Also they are for me because I just fell in love with them from the photos, funny looking bunch that they are!
But in piggy socialising terms, for Lavender mostly- Lavender's future so she isnt stuck with just one sassy bitey madam as a companion in a couple of years' time! I'm sure Theo will be thrilled though once he gets past being terrified, and Blod will welcome any noo recroots, while Hatty will organise bossy exercise classes until somepig bites her on the bum. She's used to the bum biting, she just has the sort of personality that encourages that reaction from close friends and new aquaintances alike!

Bless him, the floor is lava! Theo is such a sweetheart, he was front of the queue for (extremely manly) little pink toes and cute sticky up ears and comedy moustaches but so near the back of the queue for brains they had run out lol :)

Hoo needs branes anyway? Theo and Micah have got everything a little boar could possibly want by making do without one and being the perfect bondable pet piggie 🫠🥰
