Ollie and Tallulah have been having a cute argument over hay cookies today, and would like to hear other piggies opinions on this.
So I put 2 halves of hay cookie in the walk-in hay room.
Ollie drags his across the cage and puts it in the food bowl. Its a giant grain free pellet, it should be in the food bowl!
Tallulah drags it back to the hay room. Its hay, Ollie! Not a big pellet, its a hay food.
Ollie takes it back and puts it in the food bowl. It's a pellet! A very big tasty pellet to be sure, but it should be eaten from crockery, not the floor.
Tallullah jumps up and down flapping her ears and squeaking. Its hay Ollie! Takes it into the haycube.
Ollie fetches the second piece and places it carefully in the food bowl, then when Tallulah takes it back to the hayroom he gets the first piece of hay cookie out of the haycube and puts it back in the food bowl.
This has been going on for about 3 hours, its adorable!
So what do other piggies think? Are hay cookies giant pellets, or hay?

:)) I love this!

Iggy has studied this scientifically and says it’s a giant pellet. He has tested it under lab conditions and has verified that, as he can’t manage to pee or poo on it, it must be a giant pellet. These were rigorous tests, he even wore gloves and a little apron.

Though Tonks disagrees and thinks it’s a carnivorous creature from the upside down. Bella says it’s hers. Drom says it’s a zoomie preventative. I’m not sure they understand how a poll works...

Christian, Meg, Velvet, Betsy and Dennis all agree with Tallulah its definately hay. I have carefully placed half a hay cookie into two bowls (one for each mini herd) and they have taken out the hay cookies before eating. I didn't see who it was but they did not like the hay cookies in the food bowl.

I’ve never actually seen a hay cookie before...
Would anybody like to bestow upon me the pleasure of seeing (what seems to be) such a highly regarded food in the piggy community? 😂
