Okay so even tho Chewie died a few days ago and I wasnt going to get another one I fell in love the 2nd i saw him and couldnt not get him!

We already have a 2yr old Boar called Otis (named after Otis Reading) and also we got another baby who is called Snowy (white with grey ears and feet)

But my little wee one I cant find a name that suits!

Fudge
Errol (brown)
Joe (brown)
Chocolate
Cocoa
Mars
Snickers
Cadbury
Bobby (Brown)
Tintin (to go with Snowy but his hair isnt a quiff so didnt work right)
Mocha

any other suggestions?
Mum did think of JLS members but there is no way i'm called it Oriste or Aston thanks I'm not 12 i'm 28 lol!

I'm just stumped!

He is a bit shy and loves hiding in my jumpers and would sit for hours if i let him!

Bourbon (as in a bourbon cream biscuit) - that's what he reminds me of ^)
Rolo - like the sweet
Oatis - dunno why I thought of that
Spark - from the twinkle in his eye
Carmarl - male form of Caramel?! - I made that up but it might work lol!

Good luck! :)

I like fudge. :)

Um i may be reading it wrong but it sounds to me like youve not got a trio of boars? Please be aware this is very risky and rarely works.

If ive got the wrong end of the stick... sorry.

Rolo... looks like the colours on rolo wrappers...

He's such a cutie, not surprised you snapped him up! And I did the same recently - lost a beloved piggie, swore I'd never have another and then found room in my heart for 2 more! I think you should call him Redding cos then he will go well with Otis and you can call him Red for short as he seems to have red eyes and a hint of red in his brown coat.

Alternatively you could go for Bruno, which means brown or shining?

does it not? thought long as there is no females they would be ok as a trio :(

any more than 2 and they will likely fight and you may end up with 3 single piggies... you might be lucky and they may all get on fine but the majority of the time, that's not what happens :...

I had two that were bonded, "Rasher" and "Wiiiiieek" but when Wiiiiieekie got to that certain age, he turned on Rash and now they can't be anywhere near each other. They've now been neutered and have their own girlfriends but still don't like each other.

I know this might not be a question of age, but it's common place in many male piggy populations with all ages when you have more than 2. Sometimes they just fall out and won't make up.

there are numerous successful stories of trios on here and the key seems to be VAST AMOUNTS OF SPACE.... As for everything else cavy, a little research may help...

He's very like my Lugi on my avatar. I'm liking the chocolate theme!

okay thanks will keep an eye on that, had to let Otis the 2yr old one meet the babies cos he was extremely distressed knowing there was others near him cos he could hear them, seperate them now so they can see but not touch while we quarantine them for now, they all seem ok, but as the babies get older will definatly keep an eye out for any problems!

thats good to know cos inside its a double layer rabbit hutch so its pretty big and summer times its a huuuge run and two cages either end of it.

When we say lots of space, that means upwards of 13 sqare ft (2x6 C&C grids) As with any cage the 13 square foot needs to all be on one level. Extra levels are great for getting away from eachother, but do not count into square footage.

Also, 3 of EVERYTHING. Water bottles, food bowls, toys. All hideys need to have two exits.

Where abouts did you get theses two new ones from?

*Dont worry, ive almost made this mistake myself. Bought a third boar home from a rescue and assumed it would be fine, thankfully i was able to return him before any trouble was caused*

Dont forget to introduce on neuteral terratory, and ofcourse clean the cage thoroughly and disifect before putting them all back in, assuming they get on ok.

I wish you luck, but please do not be surprised if it ends in a fight that results in a vet visit, please make sure you have the number of a cavvy savvy vet handy.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but nothing enclosed (like a pigloo) that a piggy can be backed into, make sure anything has a separate entrance & entrance :)

How about Reese like the American chocs drool x
