Well, we thought we should give our handsome new boy a new name. But we're stuck choosing between the above. There are reasons for the choice of each name - mainly:

Zeus - Numero Uno of Greek Gods
Titan- mainly down to size as he's a big lad, but also as the Titans were a venerable and heroic race of importance ;D
Boomer - either the dog from Neighbours (mainy moons ago for the young ones), or the character from Battlestar Galactica
Xander - just a good name
Solo - in honour of the rogue Han Solo (Star Wars)
Indiana (or Indy) - in honour of the adventurer and explorer Indiana Jones

Anyone spot a theme here? ;D We don't wish to be pretentious with his name, we just feel he deserves something a little bit special :smitten:

I like Solo for him. They are all great names but my love of Star Wars is swaying me a bit! I like Titan as well! :D

Peter will be thrilled too, will get him to vote tomorrow! ;D

I can see him as a Boomer now I've thought about it! Suits him better than Solo. ;D

i voted solo but would you hate me if i said i wasnt that keen on any of them names? :(

You know how i am with piggie lips and omg this boy is sooooo gorgeous and yep a major SPUNKY GUY ^-^ ^-^ ^-^ ^-^
 
He is Glynis and sadly gay but that doesn't stop me...lol

I feel the Chocster deserves a stud of a name he has a big personality, he has to have a masculine name. I love the cutesy names hence why my boys all sound girly (except Eccles of course who is giving me piggy Evils for suggesting he is a girl!) But Choccy should have something that reflects his personality and I think Julie and Marty have got a great selection.

I'm torn between Solo and Boomer. I thought he was a Boomer now I've gone back to my original idea of Solo! Either would be perfect for him!

I've just cleaned his cage out and replaced his water, and becuase he's temporarily housed in the living room he can see me and I can see him while I'm standing at the sink. He's started to grumble at me and as soon as I've come back in and replaced his water bottle he's had a good long drink form it. It was if he was saying "Oi, where's my water gone?" >:D

He's definitely a character, he's also rumbled at me as I've turned the light off and said goodnight to him!

He's going to be a real handful (but in a good way) ;D

i dont like boomer it doesnt make sense and it hurts my head (blame glynis, niki and debbie)

but solo is growing on me and hes a solo pig too :D
 
is he a dutch? I like the name Mylo, I have no idea why :-\ ::) ;D :D
 
Morning all.

I still like the name Boomer - I think its because he is very vocal and such a big boomer of a guinea pig if you know what I mean?..................All the names are lovely but that's my fave for him I think.

I'm such a pleb - it's not Boomer in Neighbours it's Bouncer doh! Actually I really like Bouncer and if he'a popcorner, it may be more appropriate! Should I add Bouncer to the poll anyone? I think it's possible for people to change their vote!
 
I was thinking it was Bouncer but didn't want to put a spanner in the works!

Hmmm but Bouncer does suit a labrador! Not sure about a piggy though - does he bounce?!

Ahhh he s lovely, congratulations!

I am rubbish at names, but not keen on Solo as it makes him sound lonely :-\
Maybe get a feel for his personality and decide from there?
 
Usually we would decide on a name that way Fiona, although we felt as some of the forum members were familiar with this lovely boy, we would enlist a bit of input to help us decide. Ordinarily we'd wait a few days, but we want to get a name chosen for him sooner rather than later! 8)
