I got back from St. Louis earlier than I thought; I figured the cost of a motel room would be more expensive than to fill up my truck with gasoline, so I drove back tonight and will return tomorrow. (I'll see in the morning if I was right about the cost of the room vs. fuel.) Anyway, Salvatore was busy pooping while I was gone; any guinea pig that poops that much in an evening has got to be one who will survive. Underneath the paper towel where the poops are is also wet; bladder and bowels seem to have taken a wide turn for the better. He is hiding in the basket; he is so dark that he absorbed the flash. Also, I haven't taken a picture of him yet where his eyes show red inside; I thought they all did that, Redemption does.

Yay well done Sal that's fantastic pooping keep it up x

LOL I've said it before and I'll say it again we do get excited about the best things :(|)

That is a lot of poo. Well done Salvatore! glad things are looking up Pat.

Oh that is so wonderful! He is doing so well. Not all guinea pigs eyes come out red. It depends on the colours of the eye.

Woo! Well done Sal! I need to show Cameo this photo, she needs to increase her poop size!

Also, looking at where they are, he must have been eating for a looong time! :))

As for the red eye thing, it depends on the angle of the flash and stuff - the red eye is the blood vessels at the back of the eye, shown up by the flash :)

SALVATORE you poooping machine :(|):(|):(|)

Oh Pat...........a relief............really good to see loads of well formed poops!
isn't it amazing whee start off a convo with someone ....... so how's your piggies poops?

If you think his poops are a little too wet......ease off the wet / green veggies and offer more hay and pellets -c it might take him longer to adjust than what Red did.......

doing good girl! xx>>>

If you think his poops are a little too wet......
Oh, no; after seeing the first few pathetic poops I thought to myself "D**n, those are so dry it HAD to have hurt!" So the slicker the better as long as they are firm and well formed, I think. But that's just my novice opinion. And how's YOUR guinea pig poopies? :))

RE: Cameo poops - in both Red's and Sal's cases, the poops began their slide outside to Über-normalcy when they started eating juicy grass. So tell Ms. Cam to double up on the greens!

hey pat, ive just gotten caught up with everything sal related, and i just wanted to congratulate you for doing such a great job and bringing baby back to life. well done!
