I was obviously hoping to get Snowy asap so that Rosie wouldn't be on her own for to long as it must be such a shock to leave your mum and then live on your own, but with Snowy havng mites we are having to wait for 2/3wks. Rosie seems to be fine however and is getting braver everyday. She was handled by the ladies kids so is fairly tame, but is getting much tamer and has a real character ! she makes lots of noises though and I'm not sure what they all mean !

She has never had veg before as the lady was told by the vet not to give it to the babies. Ive been introducing it slowly. She loves red pepper and greens amongst other things and takes them to her bed to eat ! she loves the run and munches happily on the grass.

My husband cut a drainage pipe down to size and she loves that ! think it reminds her of her old home as they had one.

Cant wait for Snowy to come home !

thanks for that Sophie, I'll have to wait till I go to my parents house as I have no speakers on this computer !

but when i put her back into her hutch she seems to make the teeth chattering thing as if to show me her annoyance at have been got out, shes never squealed though, but does make some other noises like she is just talking to herself as shes in her hutch or run !

AWWW Bless her little Rosie. Glad to hear she's doing well, we have a drainage pipe too - a curved one and ours love that.

You wait when you get snowy she's going to open your little rosie up even more. I had a guinea living on their own for a while due to quarantining and she was transformed when going in with another one.

You sound like you are doing a stellar job with her - glad she's enjoying her greens. I have a young one and she tucks right in at meal times with no problems. i think you are right to be giving her veg.

Hope the time passes quickly until you get your new one!
