My trio have had issues with soft poops the past couple weeks. After taking them off veggies and reintroducing it seems cucumber is the cause. They never have cared much for it but would eventually eat it.

What else could I add for a good diet? They get slice of either red, orange, green pepper and red or green leaf lettuce. I know this is not enough veggies. I added a green bean but they do not care for it.

I guess the cucumber adds too much water. They all use the water bottle.

The link added above is a good place to start to give ideas for rotating and alternating veggies to provide interest. Just ensure you don’t feed too much high calcium or high sugar veg

Thank you for all your replies and the link! The store does not have the coriandor I wanted to try. I got parsnip. One sow ran away so gave her the green bean, but other two loved it.

Will see how this veggie agrees with them.

This is an ideal plate posted by Wiebke which I screen shotted as a reminder of quantity. Others have posted their veg plates.

I think parsnip might be quite hard to digest and too similar to the not very recommened carrot/potato. I wouldn't think that should be a staple food for them. I could be wrong but I wouldn't give it.

Good to know. I got just one parsnip from the replied linked list of low vit c veggies. It did not seem to have a specific limit. Will be very careful watching them though.

I can use this plating a bit. I am not sure what the spring green is? I am in the USA. They did get issues before from celery. And no cucumber also. The grocery does have cilantro if they can have that daily.

So plate wise I have is the pepper, green/red lettuce, green bean, and I will get cilantro. Still not enough though

Great. Spring green is a lower calcium version of cabbage / kale / spinach / parsley which are too high calcium to feed often but you could give a little of those foods every few days for the nutrients. With them to have a lot of hay continuously as the main part of their diet, they don't need huge amounts of veg.

Cilantro is coriander. It’s just we call it Coriander in the uk.
Spring greens is also known as collard greens. It isn’t essential so don’t worry if you can’t get it.

Parsnip is a root veg and root veg should be kept limited because of their sugar content.

It is enough though. Don’t get hung up on exact amounts or following the plate exactly. It is just a guide.

I like to give mine fennel and cherry tomatoes .make sure not to give them to much as they are quite acidic

You could try mixing a few lettuces together. When it’s spring and summer I like to mix grass and dandelion leaves with lettuce
