A Wife-Pig to be.....(I've been keeping a secret!)

Hello,

My mummy is a free ad pig, and an ex breeding sow.
She lived a life in a little hutch, having baby after baby and is very tired now
The breeder didn’t like me, as I’m a very funny looking pig.
She didn’t think I’d make as much as all the other pretty pigs
So when my mummy was rehomed as she was too old I went along too!
My mummys new slaves knew of a certain girl, who had a Percy-Roo.
So last wheek, I packed my bags and said goodbye to the life i lived before
And now I’m due to be wed to a very handsome boar!

Firstly:
Sorry for the long and delayed introduction its been one heck of a week! I wasn't expecting a new pig to come along, and I didn't want another long haired piggie but she's a welcomed surprise! Little Pig (who hasn't got a name) is a bit bedraggled looking, she's talkative, wheeky and very bold!

Secondly:

I’m sorry i never went to a proper rescue, i just wanted to thank all those rescues who got in touch with their beautiful sows and i wish them the best of luck finding a new forever home.

This little girl is going to be my last guinea pig, she still hasn’t got a name yet (so suggestions would be great!)
We currently like the following names:
Lilly-Lou (Rhymes with Percy-Roo)
Daisy
and
Tilly Tiptoes (well i like the name my OH hates it!)
I want something pretty, ‘boucy’, happy, girly, princessey and original.

Its been a roller-coaster of a week this week, with Maisie, my OHs job interview and a new little pig in the house.

Maisie seems to be perkier today she is walking around and eating by herself she still is sleeping alot though. I'll update the maisie thread in a bit.

Awwww! You kept a secret from us all - tut tut :))

She is gorgeous, and i'm glad she is now out of that horrid home! Mum is too right? Phew! I really like Tilly tiptoes! It's cuuuuute! Is she in quarantine now? Fingers crossed her and Percy-Roo fall in love!

I do too, Lilly-lou will have to see her personality grew and I'm sure a name will just come along eventually!

Yerp, mum is with my friend and will be introduced to her OAP herd. :)) Little Pig has been in quarantine for the past week, so hopefully next week I can start with intros!

Her and P-Roo have the same hair style so hopefully it'll give them something to chat about and fall in love with :))

What a cute surprise indeed! I am sure that Percy-Roo is as tickled pink as the cosy!

I like Lilly-Loo best.
 
she is adoreable and I'm glad she will be spending the rest of her life with a very handsome husband.

Aww, i'm pleased she can now have a wonderful life - poor little girl. As for your little one, i am sure P-Roo is going to totally fall for her! Ps, i was just reading in the guinea pig mag that quarantine should be for at least 6 weeks...wouldn't want little P-Roo to catch anything! Hope this helps! Oh, and please can we have regular updates! How are the boys now? Hope they sorted their differences out!

Six weeks? :o I didn't realise! (I still havent got round to reading all of the piggie magazine)

Of course, I'll have to get snapping with my camera more often! Hows Dottie, Mabel and Finley Pig? Did you get yourself a snazzy new camera?

The boys are settled now I realised why they were arguing they get very stressed if i clean the cage and rearrange it, so now i clean it twice a day so they don't notice any difference and keep everything in one place rolleyes :))

Oh hang on! I've just had another look - it says at least three weeks (i was thinking of neutering being six weeks!). So it's not too much longer! I did indeed get a new camera, but i just haven't had much time to myself recently to get many snaps! Finley is still adjusting to the camera so he's not as easy to get pigtures of! I finally entered your cosie comp though this evening! Piggies are fine, i've had new correx and grids delivered so i'm going to be building Finley an extension on top of the girls soon (just need to get the energy!) and then i need to sort out dating for him! Busy busy, I haven't told the OH yet though :xrolleyes (about the dating and another new pig!)
Finley is really coming along, he knows when to expect veggies and is wheeking and popcorning every day xx>>> he adores cuddles too, i sit with him for hours now and he completely flattens himself and sometimes sneakily sticks out his chicken legs drool

I'm glad the boys are happy again, it must be that when everything's new they feel they need to re assert their dominance again - boys hey!:))
 
How sad such a cute little piggy was unwanted and her poor mother. Do you know what happened to her mother? I think you should call her Tina!

Shes lovely isnt she? :) Her mummy is with my friend, also a piggie fan being spoilt rotten and living the life of luxury! :)

I'll update you on the name when i finally choose! :))
 
I thi she should be Prudence - Pru and P-Roo. But that's just becauseI think Pru every time I see P-Roo!

Congratulations on your latest arrival, sometimes these things are just meant to be. I like Tilly Tiptoes but I can see why your OH might be a bit reluctant ... :(|)
 
OMG! She is so beautiful, love the wild hair! x) x) Percy-Roo is going to be a very lucky boy indeed. I like Tilly Tiptoes :)) I am sooooo looking forward to more pigtures of this gorgeous addition to your furry family.
