Since my girls are still quite small...i was worried about putting them in the bathtub....so I did it in the sink...It went quite well...so funny when they would shake and spit water all over my glasses and in my face. I had my step daughter Bailey help me....so all was fine.

Adorable girls, so glad all went well. The pictures make it all look so calm and peaceful! I bet they feel super now they are all clean.

It looks like they weren't too stressed out, well done you must have reassured them and give them bribery too? ;)

We bathed the boys for the first time last week - it wasn't as much of an ordeal as I expected but I couldn't believe how much water their fur soaked up - I was left with a huge wet lap after our cuddling/drying session!
They do look very chilled out, well done!

Oh yes, i did bribe them a bit...they had some lovely orange slices after...and the girls smell so good now! All soft and cuddly again!
 
Bath time. Bath time is fun! Well...Maybe not but they smell so lovely afterward.

There's lots of reasons why people bathe them. They smell...They smell...Sometimes they smell...
Or maybe that's just boys :{

Piggies get dirty and well, you have to think that they lay in their own filth...Quite alot. So they get covered in pee and stuff.
Every once in a while, they need a good bath.
 
They are animals so they are allowed to smell! Even if mine don't although they are boys.
There really is no need to bath them unless of a medical reason. It's only stress for the piggies and I think they don't really enjoy it.
Just think about how easily they can catch a cold. I wouldn't take the chance.
That doesn't mean I didn't bath mine some time ago but that was only because I had to but only out of a medical reason.

I bathed them both because after giving them green beans, their poops were not as hard as they had been and the girls had poop on their bellies and under their claws...it was a mess. I like to cuddle them everyday and its not fun when you pick them up and they leave poop all over your shirt. :)>>>
Their poops weren't 'loose', just mushy.
