Hello all,

I bought a huge sack of this stuff because I couldn't get the usual versale laga complete from zooplus.

The girls don't like it so I just used it in an emergency to cover me. Next time I'll just wait I think as they barely touch it. Does anyone else use this stuff? No potential health concerns?

I read somewhere that seeds were not good for guinea pigs.

Thanks!

Muesli really isn’t advisable - it contains seeds (which can be a danger to them) and cereals which aren’t good for them, encourages them to pick out the sweetest tasting pieces (selective feeding) etc.

Pellets are so far down the importance list in terms of their daily food, that it would be better, if you run out of pellets, to just not bother feeding an alternative and simply feed extra hay instead

Pellets Or Muesli / Dry Mix?

That's what I thought. And that's what I'll do for sure. It's bizarre that places sell this stuff at all in that case. Oh well, perhaps the birds will like it?
