Hot Topic Acute Hoarding Situation! :)

A nasty case of guinea pig hoarding has just come to light with far too many poor freshly baked gingerbread cavies being stuck in small biscuit tins without any food and water, and that in sweltering conditions in a hot kitchen!




Anybody wanting to help and make space in their home for these poor animals is asked to please turn up at the cake corner at the 1st Animal Rescue Fair in Northampton next Saturday.


There are also a quickly multiplying number of most delicious cakes and muffins that will need rescuing before indiscriminate breeding can set in...

If I am not around as much this week, then you know where I can be found!

(Even though personally, I prefer them soft because you can taste the spices better, but then I am not a dunking person... )

Dear @Wiebke ,
I am glad to see that you have been able to acknowledge your hoarding problem, and pass many of your gorgeous ginger piggies onto responsible and loving homes.
I certainly hope that before packing them tightly into tins you are taking care to separate the males and females.
