hello,
my boyfriend won't understand this so i thought i would see what peoples opinions are on here!
when my little Jimmy died back in february i was able to bond all my piggies together so now they all live in one cage. i did spend a while after this all happened wanting to fill the empty cage that i now had but after thinking about it sensibly i decided that it was better to spend the money that i put aside each month for the animals on the ones that i had rather than stretching myself financially by getting anymore.
i also have a ferret and a cat. Stoops the ferret did have a friend many years ago but she died shortly after we got Stoops and when she died he didn't seem to miss her at all. when i had clover and boris and boris died clover really pined which is why i got stoops.
anyway stoops is 5 this month and he spends most of the day sleeping. he isn't exactly a softy as he does like to nip! i have never been able to train him out of it! i think i am rambling so sorry! i went onto the local rspca sight and saw a ferret called gypsy that is friendly and was found wandering outside but no one has claimed her. something about looking at the picture of her felt different than all the other adoptees that i have seen and i feel like i want to phone up the rescue centre and talk to them about her but i know that it would pee my boyfriend off! i think that getting a one year old ferret might be a bad idea as i don't want to go through the cycle of an old and new one again, but i can't stop thinking about her.
has anyone else ever felt like this about an animal before?
forgot to mention that i live on a narrow boat and i don't know if the rscpa will rehome animals to people that don't have an address!
