Our neutered boar has today been bonded with a little girl at a guinea pig rescue. They were best of friends during the observation there. Now they are home he is rumblestrutting pretty much constantly and they are chasing each other about. She often runs out of the hides if he enters but then she has also followed him into there. is this all to be expected?

I think so, yes. I think they need to re-establish their hierarchy in the new territory (true for males, but I don't have experience of mixed gender). Rumblestrutting is pretty much a go-to behaviour for boars, and chasing is fine too.

All normal behaviour at the start of a new relationship while both finding their way!
Boars just love to rumblestrutt - its a man thing! All talk no action! LOL

haha yes must be a man thing hes doing it a lot and shes just nonplussed eating hay !
