Hi .. as some on you know we had to help Pippin over the rainbow bridge on Christmas day
Her friend Winny has just been to the vets basically for a once over as we have no idea what caused Pippin to stop eating etc.
Now I felt like a knotted bit of fur on Winny in the middle of her back and what looked like a sore.. pic attached. The knobbly bits of fur are now gone and the sore doesn't look as red but it's a worry...
Maybe I am being super paranoid after what's just happened.. especially as Pippin had quite a few of these on her-knotty bits then if you rubbed a piece of fur would come out.
The vet said we could treat for possible mites with invermectin..as a precaution?
I did clean the cage after Pippin had died and changed all the bedding and removed all the tunnels etc - again paranoid..
Her skin could just be dry and she has what looks like dandruff in a few places.. her fur is wild so quite hard to see..
So just after opinions really... xx
